Pastor of Vietnamese Congregation
The purpose of Pastor of Vietnamese Congregation is to provide the leadership for the Vietnamese Ministry, so that they can have a pastor who will lead them through preaching, teaching and worshipping in their own language. He will also do other pastoral duties for the congregation and to reach out to the Vietnamese community here in Pensacola and other cities. He will work closely with First Baptist Church staff and congregation to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Traditional Worship Associate
We are looking for an organized, detailed, and talented assistant to coordinate weekly needs for Wednesday night rehearsals, Sunday morning worship, and seasonal programs. The position is focused on coordinating most aspects of Traditional Worship including Sanctuary Choir, Gospel Choir, Handbells, Choir Prompt needs, room set up in multiple areas, event advertising, and print materials. This is 30 hour per week position with occasional heavier weeks for special events. The associate works directly with Minister of Traditional Worship, Traditional Orchestra Associate, and Children’s Choir Coordinator, among other church staff.
