Students

We lead students to Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples.
We accomplish this by Reaching, Discipling, Equipping, and Serving.

Throughout the year, we offer many elements of student ministry for your students to enjoy. Bible studies, mid-week gatherings, trips, and events all serve a purpose. Our purpose is to help students grow in the knowledge and joy of Jesus. We try not to clutter your calendar, but provide meaningful opportunities for your students. If you ever have any questions, please contact our Minister of Students, Gage Gordon.

WEEKLY MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

Bible Study
Sundays at 9:30 AM in the ROC

Every Sunday morning, we offer Bible studies for all students in grades 6th-12th. These Bible studies exist for the goal of teaching students the riches of God’s truth. Each class is taught by at least two trained adults from the church. The adults have gone through background checks, church membership class, and are active participants in the kingdom work at First Baptist.

Midweek
Wednesdays at 6 PM in the ROC

Each month will be book ended with two  events: Invite Nights  and Serve Nights.  Invite Nights are an opportunity  to bring a friend who does not already have a church home. Serve Nights we will serve at the church or in our community.  The Wednesdays between these will be Family Group Nights. Students will be placed into groups that are mixed by grade and led by juniors and senior leaders.

FUGE CAMPS

Get ready for a world-class event that is designed to encourage, inspire, and remind a generation that they can live redeemed!
DNOW is an interactive high energy weekend experience in Pensacola that will challenge middle and high school students at all points in their spiritual walks to forsake selfish dreams, desires, and demands, and embrace a Christ-centered lifestyle.
We are partnering with Olive Baptist and Hillcrest Baptist to host DNOW for the next three years! We can not wait to see what God does in our city!
Since 1979, Lifeway has provided a camp atmosphere for students to blend together with many churches and experience an environment of Gospel-centered growth and excitement. FUGE offers track times/mission sites throughout the afternoon. Each day, these times provide students an opportunity to play a sport, learn a craft, engage in a Bible study, sing, play various instruments, and have other exciting opportunities to grow.
