In an attempt to insure that disadvantaged elementary school children do not go hungry over the weekend, we send them home each Friday with kid-friendly meals and snacks in “backpacks”. If you would like to be a part of this ministry at Weis Elementary, please contact Jennifer Daniel at 433-8896.
The Beth Davis WMU Group is a mission action emphasis group open to ladies of all ages. Support is given to local, state, and international missions. A mission action project is selected each month as well as various mission topics and speakers are shared at the meetings. Examples of mission projects are: Samaritan Hands, Baptist Children’s Home, Martha’s Vineyard, Safe Harbor for Women & Children and
donations to individual missionaries actively serving. Meetings are held at 10:30 am on the second Tuesday of the month from September thru May in members homes followed by lunch. If you woud like more information, please contact Shirley Callaway at 478-8912.

Come be part of the fun and fellowship at this Women’s Ministry service day. Our group includes ladies newly diagnosed and those who are survivors for many years. Our support group has become a network to reach out, share experiences and support each other. Best of all it has led to many new friendships and prayer partners. Call Emily Green

GAP – Girls and Periods – is a way to meet a big need for teen girls in foster care. Many girls are having to buy their own feminine hygiene products, and through GAP we can support them with this monthly expense. This is such an intimate part of growing up and many of these girls experience this alone in group homes with no mom or sister for support. For these young women, this opportunity can build the basis of learning to support and rely on other women and create healthy relationships. For more information, contact Amy Floyd at 850-418-1939.

Women’s Jail Ministry helps disciple women on a work release program with a weekly Bible study. Also, once a month we lead a chapel service at the Escambia County women’s jail. For more information contact Mary Baker at 850-982-0058.
Women’s Ministries promotes the spiritual growth of women and supports the ministries of women. Through Bible studies, special events, mission and ministry opportunities, you’ll find a place to connect with other women, share your life and faith, and grow and care for one another.
A ministry that allows women to enter a women’s prison for a weekend to minister to female inmates. Through Bible study, sharing and praying together, the inmates and volunteers are blessed. There are training sessions for this ministry. Contact Angie Robbins for more information at 850-497-8821.

Many of our senior ladies have appointments with their doctors, dentists or other commitments and need someone to drive them. That’s where love is expressed and wheels put to it. Our volunteers provide transportation to those unable to drive themselves. If you are interested, please call Beth Gowing at 384-2402.
Groups of two or more moms (or grandmothers) meet for one hour a week to pray for their children and school. Moms experience how to replace anxiety and fear with peace and joy by praying specifically and scripturally for their kids. Contact Susan Hill at 932-0882.

A ministry that provides a meal on the day of a funeral for families in the church who have lost an immediate family member. This ministry is divided into five rotating teams of volunteers.
