Bob and his wife, Annette – along with their two young sons – moved to Pensacola FBC in March of 1987. Their now grown sons are Jeremy and Landon. Jeremy is married to local girl Rebecca Overman, and have three wonderful children. Landon lives in Montreal, Canada, where is teaches and does doctoral work at McGill University.

Bob is now in his 51st year of music ministry, with 31 of them being in FBCP, where Annette works alongside him in the music office. Prior to moving to Pensacola, the Morrisons served Saks FBC in Anniston, AL; Paden Baptist Church in Gadsden, AL; FBC in Gunter, TX; FBC in Oneonta, AL; and, FBC in Cullman, AL. His formal training includes a BA in Voice (1972) from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL, and a Masters in Church Music (1974) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX.

His passion is planning music for worship experiences that lend support to thematic services. He also senses fulfillment as he works his choral and orchestral groups to strive for excellence in their many programs and special projects, and sharing the Good News of Christ through beautiful music by traveling with the various music groups both domestically and internationally. His interests outside of music include anything technology, as well as watching movies.
