Service Opportunities for Men

 

Good News Weis

This program is a weekly Bible club at our church’s partner school. It meets immediate after school at 2:15 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. each week on Fridays. There’s always a need for more men! Contact Kyle if you would be willing to help and for this year’s schedule.

 

Home Repair

This involves repairing homes of people connected to our church. There is a project being planned to fix a roof leak over small carport and to replace ceiling drywall in the laundry room due to the leak. The date is undetermined at this point but if you’re interested or have any experience in these areas, your help will be greatly appreciated. Contact Quoc if you can help.

 

Prison Ministry

•Escambia County Jail Ministry – Our church is in charge of the 3:00 p.m. service the second Sunday of each month. This involves leading some singing, sharing a devotion or message, leading prayers, reading Scriptures, etc. To find out more and if interested, please contact Shawn Brantley (shawnbrantley@brantleyassociates.com or 850-607-3991).

 

•Century Prison Re-Entry Discipleship Program – Men from our church conduct 8-12 week discipleship classes at the men’s prison in Century who are close to being released. To find out more and if interested, please contact Al Stubblefield (850-516-7890 or astub52@gmail.com).
•Kairos Weekends – These weekends involve a group of men going into one of the local prisons Thursday through Sunday to conduct an intensive spiritual weekend experience. It also requires several meetings of training. To find out more and if interested, please contact Bret Allen.
