2015 Winter Bible Studies for Women

Be Ye Transformed by Nancy Missler will be led by Shirley Moates. This study meets on Tuesday nights, starting January 6 through February 24, in the ROC from 6:30-8:00 pm. This study will answer the question of how to put on the mind of Christ by the renewing of your mind.

One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp will be led by Courtney Lurton (525-2251). This study meets on Wednesday mornings starting January 14 through February 18, in room E-214, from 9:15-10:30. This study will help you learn, practice and begin to live out the secrets of a joyful heart. Childcare will be available by reservation at 433-0063.

Discerning the Voice of God by Priscilla Shirer and led by Marcia Greene (478-7327). This study meets of Wednesday mornings starting February 4 through April 9, in room E-310, from 9:15-11:00. This study helps to bring you to a whole new level of understanding God’s Word and hearing His voice by digging deep into Scripture and pulling out life-changing nuggets that help draw you to a closer relationship with God. Childcare available by reservation at 433-0063.

What Love Is – The Letters of 1, 2, 3 John by Kelly Minter will be led by Amy Floyd (932-2540). This study meets Wednesday nights for seven weeks starting February 4 in room E-310, from 6:00-7:00. This study is designed to challenge us to walk in the light instead of darkness, pursue truth and recognize deception and love God more than the world. Kelly Minter will be the speaker at FBCP women’s conference February 27-28.

Growing Up Social by Gary Chapman will be led by Mary Lou Lurton (432-4200). This study meets Wednesday nights for seven weeks starting February 4 in the children’s prayer room, from 6:00-7:00. This study helps you to equip your child to deal with relationships in a digital world. It would be helpful to start reading the book before the study begins.

Breathe: Making Room for Sabbath by Priscilla Shirer will be led by Beth Gowing (384-2402). This study meets on Thursday mornings starting January 8 through February 5, in the ROC, from 9:15-11:30. This study looks at one of the greatest challenges among women in our culture…taking time to stop and cease from all the activities and busyness and just breathe. Childcare available by reservation at 433-0063.

Renewed to Relate: A Study of Ephesians will be led by Elizabeth Turnage (324-3564). This study will meet on Thursday mornings starting January 8 through February 26, in room E-214, from 9:15-11:00. This study will look at a fresh start in the new year through new life, new community, new ways of living and new relationships. Childcare available by reservation at 433-0063.

Books will be available at the first session of each study.
