Men’s Ministries

“Men who love and serve Jesus helping men love and serve Jesus!”

The purpose of the Men’s Ministry at First Baptist Church of Pensacola is to help men walk daily in love with Jesus and serve Him well in their families, church, work, community, and world.

We had a wonderful initial interest meeting on Sunday, March 22, 2015! Great ideas, spirit and energy! We’re in the process of putting together a planning team based upon the feedback from the meeting. They will be meeting on Wednesday, April 8 to discuss future plans. If you were not able to attend but would like to be part of what is happening, we would love your thoughts! Please print out the Interest Survey Form, fill it in, and turn into Ross Lankford (Minister of Discipleship) in the church office.

There will be another large group gathering in May for men to get together and get to know each other, enjoy fellowship, but also to hear more about the comprehensive concrete plans going forward. Broadly speaking, the needs we sensed from the meeting are: regular times for men to congregate for fellowship, opportunities for small groups and Bible studies, and ways for men to connect to ministry and mission projects. We’ll discuss these at the next gathering in May. Please pray that God will guide and direct the planning, but mostly that He will continue to stir all of our hearts as men and followers of Jesus Christ toward spiritual revival and renewal and becoming the spiritual leaders He wants us to be!
