Upward Basketball

Upward Basketball is one of the most exciting evangelistic sports ministries in the country. The great sport of basketball is used to reach children and their families for Christ. Upward Basketball seeks to develop the self-esteem of each participant, while teaching respect for authority, sportsmanship, character, and basketball skills.

Upward Basketball is a Christian-based children’s basketball league that teaches the skills of the game while also teaching the gospel of salvation. Upward is open to the Pensacola community for boys and girls, K-5 through 6th grade. Skill evaluations are conducted prior to team assignments to insure evenly matched teams are formed. Every child is given an opportunity to play at least half of the game, regardless of his or her abilities.
